    Position Summary

    WPRI/The Rhode Show is looking for an experienced Marketing Consultant with deep expertise in the lifestyle publication and live events.  The focus of this position is to produce incremental revenue for our award winning local show “The Rhode Show.” We’re looking for closers with a track record of business development success.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Specific Responsibilities Include

     

    • Exceed expectations for Rhode Show revenue targets
    • Grow target initiatives and achieve all revenue goals
    • Work with Rhode Show team to develop new revenue generating initiatives and events
    • Maintain consistent presence at local accounts to enhance client relationships
    • Develop, implement and manage plan with goals of exceeding targeted revenue
    • Provide local management team with weekly revenue forecast
    • Perform other related duties as assigned

     

     

    Required Skills

     

    • Documents success building and growing top-tier customer relationships
    • Experience working directly with Small Business owners
    • Ability to multitask and handle multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strength is running multiple unique strategic projects concurrently

     

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree and
    • 1-3 years sales experience preferably in with a lifestyle publication or brand
    • Knowledge and proficient in the use of office software and CRM tools
    • Excellent communication, presentation, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills
