    Position Summary

    Functions as a supporting member of the sales team and works to support the Digital Media Manager and Digital Director of Sales as required and collaborates with other department personnel across Nexstar platforms including HYFN, ABC4, CW30 TV and MeTV.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Duties are varied and often challenging as we work in a fast paced, rapidly evolving industry. They include:


    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must.
    • Creates graphical presentations and reports for internal and external consumption.
    • Implements digital campaigns including web, app, target display and social media.
    • Reports on the performance of digital media campaigns.
    • Prepares sales proposals in conjunction with AE’s and HYFN strategic sales teams.


    This position requires, but is not limited to:

    • Good written literacy skills. A college degree certainly helps.
    • Fluency in English with excellent writing and interpersonal communications skills.
    • Familiar with all aspects of digital marketing.
    • Works well in a team office environment.
    • Available to work minimum 4 hours daily Monday through Friday.
    • Capable of maintaining high levels of support to sales management and account executives as required


    Physical Demands & Work Environment:

    The National Sales Assistant must be able to sit, conduct telephone conversations, use electronic mail, write letters and memos, conduct face-to-face discussions with individuals or groups, make decisions without supervision, make decisions that impact the results of co-workers, work in close proximity to others, and work indoors in environmentally controlled conditions.  In addition, the National Sales Assistant must be able to handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls.  Repetitive movements are required.  Work may be conducted in extremely bright or inadequate lighting conditions.
