    Position Summary

    WDTN-TV/WBDT-TV is looking for a full-time Commercial Producer to join our Sales and Marketing team.  Individual is responsible for the creation of local commercials and digital campaigns.  Candidate must be a highly creative person able to write, produce, shoot and edit high quality commercials while collaborating with station leadership, clients, account executives, and other team members.  Applicant must be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working well under pressure, meet deadlines, and be able to juggle multiple projects.  Applicant needs to have experience working with Adobe Premiere Pro, Audition, and Photoshop and After Effects.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    -Shoots video for commercial and promotional efforts.

    -Confers with other personnel to discuss assignments, filming sequences, desired effects, and shot requirements.

    -Sets up, composes and executes video shots.

    -Organizes and edits footage and graphics into a continuous whole according to scripts or instructions for commercial and promotional efforts.

    -Determines the specific audio and visual effects necessary to complete spots.  

    -Sets up and operates computer editing and graphic systems.

    -Confers with other personnel to discuss asssignments, work product and desired effects.

    -Maintains video and editing equipment.

    -Performs othere duties as assigned.
