    Position Summary

    The Digital Marketing Producer will utilize KXAN, Studio 512, and CW digital sites, apps and social platforms to drive engagement, brand awareness, and tune-in. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Duties:

    • Create content to drive engagement on station social platforms
    • Create advertising messages across KXAN and CW Austin websites and apps
    • Promote NBC and CW shows and specials across websites and social platforms
    • Collaborate with lifestyle program producers to drive engagement to the show’s social platforms
    • Collaborate with marketing producers to promote big news stories and branded content across social and digital platforms
    • Track and analyze effectiveness of marketing messages on social and digital platforms
    • Manage social marketing budget and deliver reports to marketing director.
    • Work closely with director of marketing to fulfill daily assignments and upcoming projects
    • Collaborate with digital content team on best practices and insights. Assist digital team as needed in breaking news and severe weather coverage.
    • Monitor trends in social and digital space and recommend innovative techniques

    • You eat, sleep and breathe all things digital and social
    • You speak gif and meme
    • You love to juggle several projects simultaneously
    • You know how to shoot and edit your own quick turn videos for social media or are willing to learn
    • You are excellent with spelling, grammar and copywriting and you love to proofread
    • You can work independently and with a team
    • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
