    Position Summary

    The Integrated Digital Specialist (IDS) is responsible for generating and growing digital marketing service/product revenue for the company.  The IDS will be the market’s subject matter expert on HYFN Local digital services, and will work both independently and in conjunction with the Local sales team to achieve budgeted revenue goals.  The IDS will achieve this by professionally and effectively selling HYFN Local, Nexstar’s digital suite of marketing services/products (including targeted video, digital audience and reach extensions, SEO/SEM, etc.).  The IDS will be responsible for their own individual digital budgets for HYFN Local and working with the Local sales team to assist in achieving the overall HFYN Local goals.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Serve as digital marketing sales lead and HYFN Local subject matter expert
    • Report to and partner with Digital Sales Manager to meet and exceed digital revenue expectations
    • Achieve individual HYFN Local revenue goals
    • Effectively partner with the Local sales team in generating HYFN Local revenue
    • Develop and execute sales strategies and tactics that result in achieving/exceeding personal and company revenue targets
    • Establish, maintain and grow meaningful client relationships that help grow business
    • Generate new digital marketing business and grow business from existing clients
    • Be an effective educator and ambassador both internally and externally on the benefits of digital marketing:
    • Meaningful contributor in sales meetings
    • Develop in conjunction with DSM a training plan for Local sales team
    • Conduct educational forums and/or seminars for clients for digital services
    • Coordinate efforts and tasks with DSM on market visits with Regional Digital Manager
    • Be an effective closer with Local sales team and on individual business
    • Effectively and consistently communicate with clients
    • Serve as digital leader in “four-legged” call situations with managers and Local sales team
    • Keep current on latest trends in digital marketing service industry

     

    Work/Educational Experience and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or Public Relations, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
    • Minimum one year’s experience in sales, preferably in the media field
    • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
    • Fluency in English/bi-lingual Spanish preferred
    • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
