    Position Summary

    As a member of the digital sales team, the Integrated Digital Specialist (IDS) is responsible for generating and growing all digital marketing service revenue for the company.  The IDS will be the market’s subject matter expert on Hyfn Local digital services and will work, both independently and in conjunction with the Local sales team, to achieve budgeted revenue goals. The Integrated Digital Specialist will achieve this by professionally and effectively selling Hyfn Local, Nexstar’s Digital suite of digital marketing services/products (including targeted video, digital audience and reach extensions, SEO/SEM, and sponsorships) with the objective of advancing client objectives. The IDS will be responsible for their own individual Digital budgets for Hyfn Local and Digital and work in conjunction with the sales team to assist in achieving the overall Hyfn Goals. 

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Digital marketing services sales lead and Hyfn Local subject matter expert.
    • Report to and partner with Local market Digital Sales Manager to meet and exceed Market Digital revenue expectations on and Hyfn Local.
    • Achieve and exceed Individual Digital and Hyfn Local revenue goals.
    • Be an effective partner with the market’s sales team in generating Hyfn Local revenue while creating value to the overall operation of TV and Digital.
    • Develop and execute go-to-market sales strategies and tactics that result in exceeding personal and company revenue targets.
    • Establish, maintain and grow meaningful client relationships that help grow our business.
    • Generate new digital marketing services business and grow business from existing clients.
    • Be an effective educator and ambassador both internally and externally on the benefits of digital marketing for clients.
    • Meaningful contributor in sales meetings on digital marketing topics (ex. best practice sharing, industry trends).
    • Develop in conjunction with DSM a training plan for sales team on Hyfn Local digital marketing services.
    • Conduct educational forums and/or seminars for clients for Digital Services.
    • Coordinate efforts and tasks with DSM on market visits with Regional Digital Manager.
    • Be an effective closer with Sales Team and on your individual business.
    • Consistently communicate with clients.
    • Be a Digital leader in “four-legged” call situations with Managers/AE’s.

    Work Environment/Physical Requirements

    • Some travel and extended work hours will be required. A valid driver’s license, state mandated automobile insurance and an acceptable driving record are also required
