WTWO is seeking an innovative and imaginative Creative Services Director to join our team. The successful Creative Services Director will be able to provide leadership and expertise to the Creative Services Team, grow our brand across a multitude of platforms, and work with all other departments. Candidates must be able to write, shoot, produce, and edit on-air spots, assist with the production of special programming, coordinate and produce all station promotions and sponsorships.
The CSD is a multiple responsibility position that integrates and works with our News, Sales, Production, and Admin teams as well as current and future clients. A minimum of 3-to-5 years of television experience in writing, producing, shooting, and editing is essential, and good management skills and interpersonal skills are a must. The Creative Services Director is responsible for developing and leading the overall marketing strategy of the station, and for designing the promotions that will achieve the objectives of that strategy.
Looking for an energetic morning person, who can deliver everything from hard news to features, who can handle breaking news, live guests and ad lib situations. This is not a job for a beginner, but could be a great opportunity for a fill-in or weekend anchor looking to move into a high profile Monday through Friday position.
The new hire will anchor the AM and Noon newscasts. Strong editorial judgement, and social media engagement are required. Producing experience is a plus, because the position includes producing the midday news. Occasional reporting will be required, along with attending public functions as a station representative. It is essential that the ideal candidate be an effective, and ethical newsroom leader.
