The Weekend Anchor serves as the primary presenter of weekend news stories and other content for all platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers. We’re seeking a strong storyteller. On non-weekend workdays, the Weekend Anchor works as a multimedia journalist, collecting, analyzing and presenting facts about newsworthy events by interview, investigation or observation for all on air and online platforms in a manner that is clear, engaging and meaningful to news consumers. A successful candidate will be asked to work solo on general assignment stories and will be a major part of the station’s online success by posting timely updates, stories, and other content on KSNT.com and our social media platforms. We are looking for someone who actively engages in all of the tenets of journalism. The successful candidate must demonstrate the desire to put journalistic skills such as shooting, editing, newsgathering, writing, interviewing, reporting and ethical decision-making into practice on a daily basis.
As a member of the digital sales team, the Integrated Digital Specialist (IDS) is responsible for generating and growing all digital marketing service revenue for the company. The IDS will be the market’s subject matter expert on Hyfn Local digital services and will work, both independently and in conjunction with the Local sales team, to achieve budgeted revenue goals. The Integrated Digital Specialist will achieve this by professionally and effectively selling Hyfn Local, Nexstar’s Digital suite of digital marketing services/products (including targeted video, digital audience and reach extensions, SEO/SEM, and sponsorships) with the objective of advancing client objectives. The IDS will be responsible for their own individual Digital budgets for Hyfn Local and ksnt.com Digital and work in conjunction with the sales team to assist in achieving the overall Hyfn Goals.

The weekend meteorologist will possess excellent on-air skills in addition to contributing to all our social media platforms. Must have a degree in meteorology or related sciences.

Based at the Kansas Capitol, the Chief will identify investigative and provide in-depth content for KSNW in Wichita, KS and its affiliated stations; KSNT, KTKA and KTMJ in Topeka, KS; and KSNF in Joplin, MO/Pittsburg, KS.
